the day started with me wakin' up later then what i had originally planned.
took a bath, dried my hair and then i hurried to school to meet up with エバンズ兄貴.when i got there, he and his roommates were still tryin' to reserve their dorm room for next year . . .
we left around 10:30. glad that the day didn't derail just 'cause i woke up late.
we took the 101 which runs along the coast line. i must say, i haven't seen such beautiful scenery in a long time. it was such a wonderful change from LA. haha and wow, i guess i had forgotten what how trees and flowers looked like when they r in the wild. livin' in L.A. for so long the only kind of nature that can be seen here are brown-dried-saggin' bush lookin' things that seem to situate on top of massive gray lookin' particles - which we called dirt.
1st stop: solving
it's a danish town we walked around and went inside a museum/book store dedicated to Hans Christian Anderen who wrote the Little Mermaid [note: not the disney ver.] the princess and the pea, i read a condensed version of this story in the museum . . . the stupidest kids story i've ever read -___-u they even had a little figureine of the the princess on her bed layin' on top of several mattresses . . . urgggg~ this story pisses me off -___-*
2nd stop: chef's place
went to the mall and had sushi. well . . . del and 兄貴 had sushi i had sunomono salad - basically cucumber with sause -___-u hahaha do i know how ta order food or wha. what's so amusing this that i just had a cucumber earlier in the day. i grabbed it before i left the house. the chef and i had a lot to talk about, mostly about alhambra's supermarkets =^ ^= hahaha he was a funny guy. afterwards we went to walk around the mall. we went into an "arcade" - though i thought the place was really lame lookin' 'cause it was just a gigantic room with game machines shoved into it. well, we didn't come out empty handed, 兄貴 won 2 stuffed animals for me, a bulldog and a lion. he's pretty good at this game.
3rd stop: library
went to the library and meet 兄貴's debra and ex-coworkers. i felt quite uncomfortable meetin' them. their constant glances at me made me feel quite unease . . . it was scary meetin' those ladies . . . => <=
4th stop: house
meet mr. and mrs, evans. they were really nice and friendly to me =^ - ^= though i could tell that mrs. evans felt perhaps just a little awkward for havin' me there . . . then i meet missy and spike they were very jumpy that day. i like the both of them . . . well . . . maybe i favor spike more 'cause he's fluffy =^ ^= i had got a tour of his room and left for our next destination.
5th stop: santa maria inn
got a tour of the inn. saw the rooms of charlie chaplin, marilyn monroe, oh and also a supposedly a haunted room too.
6th stop: house again
forgot to give breads i bought to mr. and mrs. evans so we went back to drop those off. mrs. evans wanted to take us out to dinner but 兄貴 refused. he was embarrassed of they way she was behavin' i could tell. i wanted to accept her offer 'cause i wanna meet the sis but 兄貴 really did not want to have this family dinner, and so i did not push onto this matter further more.
7th stop: victor's place
ほんとに大きなの人 they played video games . . . = >___>=
8th stop: strawberry festival
a lotta weird people here, definitely not what i had imagined it to be. i played a game - throwin' darts at balloons. got the 1st 2 but misses the last one => . <= i won puppy stuffed animal b^___^ 兄貴 played a game where he had to hit the beer bottle with a baseball . . . あのとき、ぜんぜんかっこいいじゃない . . . = >___>=
9the stop: beach
got to see the original shop where the bug candy started =^ - ^=
10th stop: eat
went to a local chinese restaurant to eat. i could tell that it was authentic chinese restaurant 'cause they were playin' 邓丽君's music on the background.
11th stop: house and again
droped off the leftovers from dinner and just hung our in the livin' room for a while before we started to head back.
ahhhh~ i got so tired by the end of the day, i believe it was around 10 when we started the trip back to school . . . i tried to keep 兄貴 awake by takin' to him, but by the second half of the trip i just couldn't stay awake any longer . . .
