兄貴のバースデイ Jun 13 '08

我想这一天想了好长时间。我应该怎么样作才能让这一天变得非常special for 兄貴 - 应该给他什么样的礼物呢？怎么样给他一起过一个非常memorable的day呢 . . .

今日、私は五時ぐろおきましだ。私ね、 bumbled out that i couldn't meet 兄貴 today、兄貴は病気だから。もう～because he's afraid that he'll spread his sickness to me . . .

it took me a while to realize . . . そう！ このセチュウエシヨンは私はいつもhopin' and plannin' ですよ? ! ? ! ? ! i 我想去Santa Maria ，然后去偷偷的见他 - then i'll wish him a happy birthday. gosh!怎么这么笨！全都忘了。i guess it was all of those plannin' with 兄貴 about meetin' up 今週の金曜日 made me forget my super-awesome-totally-cool-b-day plan for 兄貴! =^ o ^=

so i started to bake around 9am. i was bakin' blue berry muffins. TRUE! that was all i had at the moment, but that's not the only reason y i choose to make it:

1. 兄貴 like blueberry muffins.
2. i was plannin' to bake blueberry muffins for 兄貴 anyway.

3. i'm more confident in being able to bake a fully cooked muffin than a cake. = >___>=

i eventually made it outa the house around 2 after spendin' hours tryin' to bake 2 cupcakes that were just perfect . . . hummm . . . they turned out alright . . . one was a little burned but i suppose that if i just put a sugar coatin' on the top . . . the burn won't be so noticeable anymore ^ ^u

mapquest estimated the trip to be about 2.5hr long. it took me 3.5hr to get there =___=

=^ ^= ya know, i was super excited and mostly nervous when i got there. but i know that if i'd want things to go smoothly, i've gotta come down ['cause i tend to miss up things when i'm nervous.]

so sittin' there in my car, i decided to give 兄貴 a call.

i told him i was at home [lie], i told him i was in my backyard [lie], i told him i was decoratin' a box [true, it was his b-day present] he was askin' a lotta questions so i gotta lie to throw him off my track.

so as i walked up to the front door, i gave another call to 兄貴 and said:
r u downstairs at your home? can u do me a favor? can u go to the front door and open it?

兄貴 said: wait! r u here ? ! ? ! ? !

[note: 兄貴's front door had has a metal gate.]

he opened the door . . .

and then this was our greetin' . . .

兄貴: OH GOD! [the black shadow behind the gate said.]

=^___^= : hi

兄貴: *stunned*

=^___^= : . . . ermmm . . . hello? =O o= [said while lookin' through the gate, tryin to make out the expression of the black shadow.]

兄貴: *stunned*

haha that was interestin' =^ ^= 兄貴 had an interview earlier durin' the day. 兄貴 also told me that because of the interview, he actually got up and shaved. if it wasn't because of the interview, he would have looked like a bum . . . but even so . . . yeah . . . his hair was everywhere, pretty sloppy lookin' when i saw him ^ ^u . . . he was kinda embarrassed . . . and to be brutally honest, 我觉得他斌没有那么邋遢。^ ^u

we spent the rest of the day together went to the park [awesome park btw, felt like i was in a forest!]

feed the ducks.

went to the yogurt place in SM.

we bought a strawberry cake on the way to the beach and celebrated 兄貴's birthday there.

hope it really was a good birthday for 兄貴. =^___^=

*on a side note exactly a week ago on the 9th i was walkin' in the mall with a friend. the suddenly a person who was walkin' behind me tripped. he must have been carrin' 10 shopin' bags. so i turned around and helped him pick up his stuff. while i was walkin' away, a girl came up to me and asked me to fill out a form. it turns out, that was an experiment, to see who would help the guy to pick up his stuff. haha =^ ^= now i think about it, i did notice the girl walkin' behind the guy prior to his fall. i'd figured that she was his girlfriend and was makin' him carry all of her shoppin' bags ^ ^u . . . 'cause i know, that's what i do*
